Who we are 

Bloom is a non-governmental initiative where the team comes from diverse communities and backgrounds, creating a community with strong ties. Bloom was founded in 2018, while being affiliated with a team that has been running entrepreneurship programs since 2008, and is currently running 5 programs supporting startups and accelerators across the Middle East & Africa, has more than 50 partners, and is growing. Bloom programs to help individuals, businesses, and accelerators create jobs and grow, while building a new training methodology and software to support startups, small and medium businesses, and entrepreneurship support programs. Many issues, including education, health, telecoms, financial inclusion, migration, sanitation, food/agriculture, conflict/crisis response, and more, are being handled throughout specific programs. 


We are searching for experienced and enthusiastic people to join Bloom’s team. Role & Responsibility 

  1. Build and implement effective communication strategies and plans for Bloom by coordinating and improving internal and external communication flows 
  2. Plan and organize communications and promotional campaigns such as events, seminars, and press conferences
  3. Build and develop connections in the entrepreneurial ecosystem (C-suites, co-founders, and decision-makers), and attend and speak at events on behalf of Bloom and our platform  
  4. Set up collaborations and partnerships (accelerators, government agencies, entrepreneurship training programs, schools, universities coding bootcamps, meetup groups, startups, etc) and expand our network of partners who can offer services for free or at a discount for the Bloom Community (Partners, Programs, Bloom Platform users) 
  5. Identify and visit relevant events to represent Bloom and connect with our target audience
  6. Identify sponsoring opportunities and outline the opportunities (purpose, impact, intended return on investment, etc)
  7. Maintain event budgets and ensure proper post-event spending reporting



  1. BSc degree in Marketing or a relevant field and more than 5 years of experience as a community manager or in similar roles 
  2. Experience in launching community initiatives (e.g., building an online forum, launching an ambassador program,creating an event series, etc). Experience planning and leading community initiatives
  3. Ability to identify and track relevant community metrics using data analytic tools and data reporting tools (ex: google Analytics) 
  4. Excellent verbal communication, public speaking  writing skills
  5. Hands-on experience with social media management (Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, etc) and familiarity with content creation and design tools  
  6. Experience in using project management tools (ex: Airtable, Trello) 
  7. Attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solver
