We are thrilled to announce that "Find A Nurse," one of our esteemed alumni startups at Bloom, has been selected for the prestigious Halcyon MENA Fellowship 2024 cohort. This recognition highlights the innovative solutions and impactful work "Find A Nurse" brings to the healthcare sector.

"Find A Nurse" is a groundbreaking platform designed to connect families with professional home care providers, addressing a critical need for accessible and reliable healthcare services at home. By simplifying the process of finding qualified nurses and caregivers, "Find A Nurse" ensures that patients receive personalized and high-quality care. This service is particularly crucial for families with elderly members, individuals with chronic illnesses, and those requiring specialized medical attention.

The Halcyon MENA Fellowship is dedicated to supporting entrepreneurs from the Middle East and North Africa who are tackling significant challenges in health, climate, and equity technology. The fellowship offers comprehensive support, including training, mentorship, AWS cloud credits, and a $5,000 stipend. Participants will engage in virtual sessions and two in-person residencies—one in Washington, DC, and another in the MENA region. Halcyon aims to foster businesses that drive equity, inclusivity, and scalable impact, aligning with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

This achievement is among several recent milestones for "Find A Nurse." Just a few months ago, the startup was awarded grants by Tadamon, a platform that supports civil society organizations and social enterprises in the MENA region. This grant is a testament to their ongoing commitment to improving healthcare accessibility and their potential for driving positive social change.
