Terms of Service for Bloom

1. Introduction
Welcome to Bloom! These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of our platform and any paid or free programs, workshops, accelerators, masterclasses, or similar events (collectively, “Programs”) offered by Bloom. By registering, subscribing, or otherwise using any Bloom service, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Company Overview
Bloom is an edtech startup focused on quantified skills development for high school students, university students, corporates, professionals, and job-seekers. Our platform includes self-diagnostic skills assessments, setting skills development priorities, earning badges, and accessing a library of activities. We also support program facilitators in both formal educational settings and independent workshops.
In addition to our online platform features, Bloom also designs and delivers live and on‑demand Programs (workshops, accelerators, masterclasses, etc.) to support personal, professional, and organizational growth.
3. Eligibility
Users must be at least 16 years old to create an account and use our platform. By registering, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
5. User Registration and Account Security
- Users must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
- Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.
- Users must notify Bloom immediately of any unauthorized use of their account.
6. User Conduct and Responsibilities
- Users are expected to provide accurate information and update it as necessary.
- Users must respect the rights and privacy of other users.
- Users must comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Users must use the platform responsibly and avoid activities that could harm the platform or other users.
7. Prohibited Activities
- Harassment, spamming, and sharing of inappropriate or offensive content.
- Attempting to hack or interfere with the platform's functionality.
- Engaging in any illegal activities, including but not limited to crimes against humanity, genocide, terrorism, human trafficking, or child exploitation.
Bloom reserves the right to monitor, investigate, and report any suspected illegal activities to the appropriate authorities and to suspend accounts suspected of engaging in such activities. We cooperate fully with law enforcement and international bodies in investigations related to these crimes.
8. Content Ownership and Licenses
- Users retain ownership of the content they create and share on the platform.
- By posting content, users grant Bloom a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display the content as necessary to provide and promote the platform's services.
- Bloom's proprietary content, including software, logos, and trademarks, is protected by intellectual property laws. Users are granted a limited license to use this content for personal, non-commercial purposes.
9. Payment & Billing
9.1 Bloom Platform Services
- For any paid services or subscription plans, users are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) as agreed upon during registration.
- Payments are processed securely via Stripe.com, and users are provided with a detailed invoice for each billing cycle.
- Users should contact Bloom’s customer support team to resolve any billing disputes. Bloom will investigate and address disputes promptly, and any refunds will be issued in a pro‑rated manner in accordance with Bloom’s refund policy.
9.2 Bloom Programs (Workshops, Accelerators, Masterclasses, Bootcamps, and other paid events)
a. Scope
Applies to any one‑off or multi‑week paid event offered by Bloom.
b. Fees & Payment
Program fees are listed on each registration page. Payment is due at registration, either by credit card (Stripe) or by invoice to your finance/AP contact (invoice due within 30 days).
c. Cancellation & Refund
Full refund if you cancel at least 7 days before the first session or event start date. No refunds after that deadline, but you may apply your payment as credit toward another Bloom program within 12 months (subject to availability).
d. Recordings & Materials
All live sessions are recorded and shared with registrants. Workshop and accelerator materials are licensed for personal, non‑commercial use only.
e. Confirmation & Access
Your seat is confirmed once payment is received (Stripe checkout complete or invoice paid). Access links, session details, and preparatory materials will be emailed prior to the first session.
10. Limitation of Liability
- Bloom's liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
- Bloom is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform.
- Users agree to use the platform at their own risk.
11. Warranties
- Bloom provides the platform "as is" without any warranties, either express or implied.
- Bloom does not warrant that the platform will be error-free, secure, or available at all times.
- Users acknowledge that they are using the platform at their own discretion and risk.
12. Account Termination
- Bloom reserves the right to terminate or suspend a user's account for violations of the Terms of Service, illegal activities, or any conduct that may harm the platform or other users.
- Users may terminate their accounts at any time through the profile settings on the Bloom platform or by contacting customer support at support@bloom.pm.
13. Legal Compliance
- The Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom.
- Bloom complies with relevant UK, EU, and US regulations, including data protection and consumer protection laws.
14. Dispute Resolution
- Any disputes arising from the Terms of Service will be resolved through arbitration or mediation, as agreed upon by the parties.
- If arbitration is chosen, it will be conducted in accordance with the rules of a recognized arbitration institution in the UK.
15. Customer Support and Feedback
Bloom provides customer support through email (support@bloom.pm) and a helpdesk portal. Users can submit feedback, report issues, and seek assistance through these channels.
16. Changes to Terms of Service
- Bloom may update the Terms of Service from time to time. Users will be notified of significant changes through email or a notice on the platform.
- Continued use of the platform after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
- Any material changes to the Programs Terms (Section 9.2) will be communicated via email and/or a platform notice. Continued use of any Programs after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
17. Third-Party Services
- Bloom integrates with third-party services for data analytics, payment processing, and communication. These services are subject to their own terms and privacy policies.
- Bloom ensures that third-party providers comply with relevant data protection laws.
18. Privacy and Data Protection
